Info

Participants will learn about Gap Filler’s practice and how it leads urban transformation strategies with community, government and private sector partners. Facilitators will share the lessons and experience of Gap Filler maturing from a creative and grassroots disaster response initiative, into an established and thriving organisation working on large-scale and long-term city-making projects.

Working through scenarios, participants will be able to gain an in-depth understanding of Gap Filler's approach and methods for urban problem solving, and explore the ways that small-scale, temporary ‘organic’ projects can fit within wider planning frameworks. This workshop will equip participants with practical and strategic approaches that they can bring to their own urban and community challenges.
