Info

Moonbalsso is an architecture practice based in Seoul and founded in 2001 by Moon Hoon. A hybrid between an architect and artist, Moon is interested in breaking the boundaries of architecture by experimenting, crashing, fusing, and mixing with various other disciplines. His buildings push the boundaries and contain playful elements, reflecting Moon’s open-minded attitude to architecture.

His major works include Rock It Suda, Two Moon, Wind House, and Sangsang Museum, which was awarded a KIA prize in 2005. His drawings have been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tchoban Foundation in Berlin.

Brickworks will host an intimate night learning about the life and experiences of Moon Hoon based on his works in Korea and other parts of the world.

“Enjoy life and do your fantasy, it can become a reality!” – Moon Hoon
