Chloe Naughton

Originally from regional North Queensland, Chloe moved to Brisbane to study architecture at the Queensland University of Technology. Upon graduating, she moved back North for a number of years to develop her ideas around architecture in the dry tropical context, aligning her design process with the skills and expertise of local trade. She later returned to Brisbane to engage with architecture on a much larger scale and in a variety of contexts with m3architecture. An opportunity to work in Lima, Peru for local practice Barclay and Crousse arose in 2018. Here she became delightfully curious about the rich culture and history of the country while studying the vernacular architecture of Peru’s climatically diverse regional villages. Now back in Australia, Chloe is enjoying working in BVN’s Sydney studio exploring mostly educational and institutional projects.
