Info
Blak Feeds is a new format for creative talks in public spaces. Inspired by the Pecha Kucha format, the events include a timed oral presentation curated through a series of visual prompts. The guest speakers are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives and their visuals are uploaded to an Instagram "feed" so you can view them on your own handheld device. The Blak Feeds guest speaker for APAF is Alison Page.
Alison Page is an award-winning creative at the forefront of contemporary Australian Aboriginal design and storytelling. As a descendant of the Walbanga and Wadi Wadi people of the Yuin nation, and as a leading force in the Australian design scene, Alison champions the contemporary creative expression of Aboriginal identity through interior design, public art, installations and film.
Light catering (or a "feed") will be provided. Follow Blak Feeds on Instagram: @blakfeeds
