Inspired by the classic arcade games Pac Man and Frogger, Pac Ma’am and Copper! offer novel twists where the boundary between play and history vanishes.
These retro-inspired arcade machines, developed by the Queensland State Archives, combine gaming and historical architectural plans in a fun way.
Designed for kids and grown-ups who never grew up, Pac Ma’am and Copper! each offer 80 randomly generated missions set within old architectural drawings. Get the highest score or challenge your friends and family to see who can jump past all the snakes, eat goats, collect coins and catch a thief.
Join this event at the Toowoomba City Library to explore the touring exhibition – no gaming experience or historical knowledge required. And the games are free to play!
