About the Asia Pacific Architecture Festival

Info

The Asia Pacific is experiencing unprecedented urban growth. Architects, designers and planners have a critical role in shaping the future of the region, responding to the diversity of its people and countries. Through exhibitions, installations, symposia, lectures and workshops, the Asia Pacific Architecture Forum explores the opportunities and challenges of the Asian century.

Presented at venues across Queensland from 18 to 31 March 2017, the Asia Pacific Architecture Forum brings together leading architects, designers and planners from across the Asia Pacific region. It will promote architecture’s pivotal role in the culture, sustainability and economy of the region.

The forum is a collaboration between founding partners Architecture Media and State Library of Queensland and presenting partners Artisan, Australian Institute of Architects, Brisbane Open House, Museum of Brisbane, Pecha Kucha, QAGOMA, Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, University of Queensland School of Architecture and QUT Creative Industries.
