Biography

Chris Boulton is the founder and managing director of The City Green Lab and a research fellow with both the Sustainability Research Centre (University of the Sunshine Coast) and Griffith University's Cities Research Institute. Chris has qualifications in landscape architecture and criminology, extensive professional experience in municipal urban greenspace management, planning and design. 

An honorary fellow of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and recipient of an Endeavour Research Fellowship by the Australian Government in 2018 (examining municipal greenspace provision in Canada), Chris continues to share research and practice insights to support a better approach to providing urban greenspace.
