Biography

Tim O’Rourke is an architect and senior lecturer in the School of Architecture at the University of Queensland. His research at the Queensland State Archives contributed to the exhibition Camps Cottages and Homes: A brief history of Indigenous housing, which was held at UQ’s Anthropology Museum in 2022. During his PhD, Tim was fortunate to work with Girramaygan and Jirrbalngan in a study of their rainforest building traditions.
