Thinking about a climate-appropriate renovation but don’t know where to start? Have a half-completed DIY project you need some advice on? Haven’t found the right architect or unsure of how much it will all cost?
The answer is simple. Come along to the Museum of Brisbane and speed date an architect. As part of this year’s Asia Pacific Architecture Forum, MoB have teamed up with the Australian Institute of Architects to offer a series of free mini-consultations with Brisbane-based architects. Bring your photos, plans and DIY disaster stories along to get the creative process started, demystify the client/architect relationship or get the down-low on the latest in sustainable approaches to design.
The evening will involve 20-minute sessions with 16 different architects. Book in for the night and we’ll play matchmaker, setting you up on a date (i.e. session time) with at least one architect or more depending on bookings. Registrations close 48 hours before the event so that we can send your scheduled booking times in advance. Arrive in time for your allocated sessions or come for the whole event and enjoy perusing the Museum as well as Brisbane entries in the 2018 Architecture awards.
