It has been four years since two institutes from different continents started a five-year joint studio of research and design. The aim of the studio was a cultural encounter through commonalities: a nearby lake (Lake Biwa and Lake Lucerne) and its water.
In the webinar, the project will first be introduced, then there will be a discussion about encounter and collaboration. Two students and two external guests have been invited to deepen the dialogue from different perspectives. Guest speakers include Adam Jasper of ETH Zurich and Erwin Viray of SUTD, Singapore, and KIT, Japan
As a parallel event, there will be the launch of an online exhibition of studio achievements from the last three years.
