Michael Rayner AM is a director of Blight Rayner Architecture, which is currently designing the new performing arts venue at South Bank and the National Rugby Training Centre at Ballymore. The practice is involved with the Olympic and Paralympic Games and their legacy projects, and it is also involved with business cases for potential revitalization projects.

Michael is an adjunct professor at both the University of Queensland and Griffith University. He is a past president of the Australian Institute of Architects’ Queensland Chapter and a member of the Urban Futures Brisbane Board and the Queensland Urban Design and Places Panel.
